In development — coming soon to Google Play

Help should be as close as your community.

SafeGuard NG turns the people around you — family, friends, neighbours, coworkers — into your first line of response. One press sends your location, an audio recording, and a silent alert to the people who can actually reach you.

Emergencies rarely wait for a good signal.

A slow response isn't usually about a lack of care — it's about distance, delay, and not knowing who's actually close enough to help. In many Nigerian neighbourhoods, the person who can reach you fastest is a family member, a colleague, or the group chat next door — not a switchboard.

SafeGuard NG is built around that reality. It skips the middleman and puts an alert directly in front of the small circle of people most likely to actually come — with your exact location, what's happening, and a way to keep a record of it afterward.

How it works

From trigger to response, in four steps.

Every SOS follows the same path — fast to start, and hard to fake-out for anyone but you.

01

Trigger

Hold the SOS button or double-tap it — whichever is faster in the moment. No unlocking a second app, no hunting for a menu.

02

Broadcast

Your live location and short audio clips start streaming to every community you belong to, updated in real time until the alert ends.

03

Respond

Your community gets a push notification immediately and can see exactly where you are and what's being recorded, so they know how to help.

04

Resolve

End the alert yourself once you're safe. Everything recorded during the alert stays available to your community for 48 hours, then it's gone.

SOS trigger

One motion, not a menu.

A held press or a double-tap on the SOS button starts an alert instantly — designed for a hand that's shaking or a phone that's half in a pocket, not a calm scroll through settings.

Live location

Your community sees where you actually are.

Location updates continuously while an alert is active, so the people responding aren't working off where you were five minutes ago — they're working off where you are right now.

Audio evidence

A record of what happened, automatically.

Short audio clips are captured in the background for the length of the alert, giving your community — and you, afterward — something more concrete than a memory to go on.

Duress PIN

A way out that looks like you cancelled.

If you're forced to call off an alert, a separate duress PIN makes it look cancelled on your screen — while it keeps quietly recording and broadcasting to your community in the background.

Communities

Built around the circles you already trust.

Create or join up to four communities — family, friends, work, or anything else — using a simple invite code. Each one gets its own member list and alert history, so your work colleagues aren't seeing your family's alerts and vice versa.

FAQ

Common questions

When is SafeGuard NG launching?

We're in the final stretch of testing. There's no fixed date yet — the fastest way to hear about it is to leave your email above.

Does SafeGuard NG work without internet?

No. SafeGuard NG needs a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection to broadcast your location and audio to your community in real time.

Who can see my location?

Only the members of the community you send an alert to — and only while that alert is active. Members of your other communities, and anyone outside your communities, never see it.

What happens to the audio recordings afterward?

Recordings and alert history stay visible to your community for 48 hours after the alert ends, then they're automatically removed. See the privacy policy for full details.

Is SafeGuard NG free?

Yes. There are no charges to create a community, join one, or trigger an alert.
